Impressionz 2018

The Inter-School cultural extravaganza of National Public School, Impressionz, was held in the month of June 2018. The cultural fest was titled Chronolapse and the theme was chosen to showcase the next 100 years in 2 days. The Opening Ceremony was graced by Kollywood Actress Gayathri Sankar and Indian Idol’17 finalist R.P. Shravan. The Guests along with The Principal, Administrator and the Vice-Principal lighted the traditional lamp and declare the fest open. The host performance by the music department set the perfect mood and ambience for the conduct of all the planned events.

Impressionz 2018 Chronolapse, attracted more than 50 schools across Chennai. It had 25 events spanning for 2 days. The closing ceremony on Day 2, was graced by alumnus Actress-Director, Ms Vinodhini Vaidhiyanathan and P. S. Mithran, Debut-Director. This year all the eight participants of the winner’s event were awarded prizes. The best performer of the winner’s event was crowned Mr. Impressionz’18 and was presented a HP Omen laptop.

P.S.B.B, K.K.Nagar lifted the winner’s trophy for a third time in a row and Chettinad Vidyashram and Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School shared the runners-up trophy. The dance department wrapped up the show with a beautiful blend of classical and contemporary performance.
