Desi Utsav 2017

The Desi Utsav (Market day) was organized by the students of grades VI to VIII.

Children made and exhibited stationary items of everyday use like laminated sheets, notepads and envelopes. Kalamkari pouches of various sizes and designs were also displayed and sold. Scenic paintings of temples and portraits of legendary Michael Jackson which were made by Arundhathi Baiju of class X A were displayed. Wall paintings that looked very attractive filled the stalls along with jewellery and ornaments. The new fad of fidget spinners was in stock and the halls were full of hustle and bustle of the students. The food stalls contained popular goodies that sold like hot buns. There was an overwhelming response both by the children as well as parents.

The children got a good exposure and also experienced the feeling of being an entrepreneur by handling the stalls independently.
