Market Day 2025 – Desi Utsav

Market Day 2025 was a vibrant and engaging event organised by the Grade VII students, who worked collaboratively in teams to design and create a variety of unique products. Each student made a fixed investment, while the school provided the required materials. Over several Saturdays, students planned, crafted, and refined their products, demonstrating creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills.>

On the day of the event, the mini hall was transformed into a bustling marketplace with beautifully arranged stalls displaying décor items, utility products, jewellery, and festive crafts. Students from Grades IV and V visited as customers, explored the stalls, made thoughtful purchasing decisions, and practised budgeting, thereby enhancing their financial literacy and consumer awareness.

Following the successful sale of products, all Grade VII students received full reimbursement of their investment, while the remaining surplus was donated towards community welfare initiatives. The event was a grand success, celebrating innovation, collaboration, and social responsibility. The winning entries were Tiles Coasters, Suncatchers, and Fridge Magnets by Grade VII A; Bottle Planters, Jewellery, and Dream Catchers by Grade VII C; and Bookmarks by Grade VII B. Market Day’25 was a memorable learning experience that inspired creativity, confidence, and responsible entrepreneurship among the students.
